Artists in Elias Mitsoaledi Municipality in Sekhukhune Limpopo now have a voice to raise their concerns, seek opportunities for them and help them create as well as maintain an entertainment/arts industry in the largely rural district.
Musicians, crafters, and other artists gathered in Groblersdal this week to elect an executive committee that has been tasked with seeking opportunities, managing the industry’s day to day operations ( in the Elias Motsoaledi Municipality )mobilise funding for campaigns, source training opportunities as well as serving as the chief representative of all the artists who are based in the municipality.

Others who were elected are Selina Tlaka, the founder of Ipopeng Cultural Group who is deputising Masemola while Sebesho William
