TEARS FC DEFEATS SELEPE ALL STARS FC 3-1 IN MARUPING CLASH

Tears FC secured a 3-1 victory over Selepe All Stars FC in a league match played at Maruping on Sunday, 21 June 2026, after taking control of the game from the opening half.
The match kicked off at 15:30, with both sides showing early intent. However, it was Tears FC who struck first, opening the scoring to take a 1-0 lead. Selepe All Stars FC struggled to respond in the first half and went into the halftime break trailing.
Early in the second half, Tears FC doubled their advantage and putting Selepe All Stars FC under serious pressure.
Despite the setback, Selepe All Stars FC responded strongly and managed to pull one goal back through Professor, who finished clinically to reduce the deficit to 2-1.
The goal reignited hopes of a comeback as Selepe All Stars FC pushed forward in search of an equaliser. However, their momentum was halted when Tears FC restored their two-goal cushion with a third goal.
Selepe All Stars FC continued to fight until the final whistle, but Tears FC remained composed and managed the game effectively to secure the three points.
Speaking after the match, Selepe All Stars FC coach Mr Chairman admitted that his side fell short on the day but remained optimistic that it will improve.
“We will go back, fix our mistakes and prepare better for the next game. This is not the result we wanted, but we will learn from it,” said Me Chairman.
Selepe All Stars FC will now shift focus to their next league fixture against Young Boys FC, scheduled for Saturday at Tjibeng. The team will be hoping to bounce back and return to winning ways in front of their supporters.
