SBV won 2-0 against Maubeng FC in their Hollywoodbets Regional League match played at TT Sports Ground in Sehunyane on Saturday morning, 02 May 2026.
The game started at 11:00, and SBV took control early. They passed the ball well, pressed high, and kept most of the possession. Maubeng FC struggled to settle and spent a lot of time defending.
SBV created many chances in the first half. Their hard work paid off when striker Potsa scored the first goal after a good team move. This gave SBV confidence and they continued to attack.
Maubeng FC tried to come back into the game with quick counter-attacks, but SBV’s defence stayed strong. Players like Mbokazi, Stopper, and Ocean helped keep things tight at the back and stopped most attacks.
In midfield, Stilo and Motshwari played very well. They helped SBV control the game and kept the ball moving forward. SBV went into halftime leading 1-0.
In the second half, Maubeng FC tried harder to score. They pushed more players forward, but SBV stayed calm and organised. They defended well and waited for their chances.
SBV then scored again when Potsa got his second goal of the match. This made it 2-0 and almost ended the game. His finishing was very good and helped SBV secure the win.
