Ditlou FC collected a valuable three points after defeating Eleven Fast Tigers FC –0 in their Hollywood Regional LeagueStream A match played at Mablehall Laerskool Stadium on 20 February 2026.
Coming into the match, Ditlou FC were placed number five on the log table, while Eleven Fast Tigers were sitting at number 11 with 10 points. The result was important for both teams, as Ditlou aimed to stay among the top sides and Fast 11 looked to climb away from the lower half of the table.
The game started at a steady pace, with both teams showing respect for each other. The first half was balanced, as the two sides battled in midfield and tried to create scoring chances. However, neither team managed to break the deadlock before halftime.
In the second half, Ditlou FC returned with more determination and attacking intent. Their efforts paid off in the 54th minute when Nthabeleng Mampa scored the only goal of the match. After receiving the ball inside the box, Mampa kept his composure and finished calmly past the goalkeeper to give his side the lead.
The goal lifted the home supporters and gave Ditlou more confidence. Eleven Fast Tigers responded by pushing forward in search of an equaliser. They increased their pressure and tried to use quick passes to break through Ditlou’s defence. Despite their efforts, the home side remained organised at the back and defended well.
Ditlou’s defenders showed discipline and teamwork, clearing dangerous balls and limiting the visitors’ chances. The goalkeeper also played an important role in maintaining the clean sheet. As the final whistle approached, Ditlou managed the game carefully and avoided mistakes.
Speaking after the match, Ditlou FC head coach Martin Makgopa praised his players for their hard work and focus.
“We knew it would be a difficult game because they are fighting for points,” said Martin. “I am proud of the way the players stayed disciplined. Nthabeleng took his chance very well, and the whole team worked hard to protect the lead. These three points mean a lot to us.”
The victory keeps Ditlou FC strong in fifth position and builds their confidence as the season continues. For Eleven Fast Tigers, the defeat means they remain 11th on the log with 10 points and will need to improve in their upcoming matches.
As the Stream A campaign progresses, every point becomes important, and Ditlou FC will hope this win gives them momentum going forward.
