The mourners in Kgautswane within Ward 24 of FTLM included Mayor Eddie Maila and his Executive Committee members.
Maila expressed shock. “We came here today because our community is grieving. As government, we must always draw closer to our people – especially in moments of sorrow – to comfort, support and mourn with them. We are a government because of the people. We ask our pastors and spiritual leaders to continue interceding and pray for all road users – that our roads may be safe and protected from tragedy,” Maila remarked.
